I am attending The Centre for two hours a week trying to learn how to use a computer! All the younger members of the family are keen for my husband I to get with it!
The teacher is very patient and that is such a big asset. Everybody in the class goes at a different pace and are of varying abilities. I also go to a French Class at Gearies and although we all started at a certain level there is a big difference in the progress each individual person is making. It makes a difference how much work you are prepared to do at home and how interested you are in the subject. This applies to French and the Computer Course. We are lucky to live near Hainault Community Centre and although we have lived here for 37 years we have never attended a Course there. It is also very important that the Computer Course is free as this is very important to pensioners . |
