Golf in Hainault has been very well served for the best part of 100 years by the two courses contained within Hainault Golf Club. Both the upper and lower courses are managed by a private and council partnership the standard of maintenance is of the highest quality, when one considers they are open to the general public. The late great Henry Longhurst said that the 12 hole on the lower course is one of 100th best holes in The British Isles.
We also have another course contained within the Fairlop Sports & Leisure Complex. Although this is not on par with the 2 others it is still a reasonable test particularly for high handicap players.
