Business and Industry - Hainault Industrial Estate proposed Business Park

Proposals are for the Hainault Business Partnership to change the present arrangement into Hainault Business Park.
The Hainault Ward of the London Borough of Redbridge is pioneering a proposal whereby one Industrial Estate with the highest employee concentration is to be configured as “Hainault Business Park” to meet the future challenges which face UK Industry in the 21st.Century.This innovation is claimed to be one of the first of its kind in England and was set up on 16th.November, 2005 when the Hainault Business Park BID Proposal Document (Business Improvement District) was launched.
This Proposal Document contains some five “BID Aims”
Viz
- BID Aim 1: To improve and maintain security on the Business Park
- BID Aim 2: To improve and maintain cleanliness within the Business Park.
- BID Aim 3: To address the improvement of the Environment in the Business Park.
- BID Aim 4: To support and promote the onsite Business Park Businesses.
- BID Aim 5: To flag up and seek additional funding for the Business Park.
The onsite Industrialists are at this point in time, i.e. end February, being balloted on their opinion of the setting up of this Business Park with a vote being held during the latter part of March for their democratic decision. Opinions may vary to the Park’s establishment as an additional fee of 1% of each of the Landlord’s rateable value is to charged up to a maximum of £1,000 and the question of, what additional services are we to receive to increase our profitability may be asked?
At present the Hainault Business Park Partnership are constructing a web site to have information up-dated as they proceed in their formative phase.
